The presentation will highlight the current principles accepted in modern day implantology. It will cover aspects of diagnosis and treatment planning and the concepts which form the basis to include implants in the treatment plan. The surgical method and technique for delayed as well as immediate implants will be elucidated and will go on to highlight soft tissue manipulation to achieve a good aesthetic result. The aspect of prosthetics will be finally dealt with and the ideas of immediate, progressive and delayed loading will then be addressed. A summarization of the longevity and success rate of implants will conclude this presentation.
