Direct veneer technique is one of the most noninvasive smile design methods. The aim of this lecture is to show the possibilities of this technique from a new aspect. During planning of this noninvasive technique dentist has to be focused on the whole arch, the whole smile, the entire face and the patient’s character and personality also. Before the treatment have to be desided wich tooth shape, wich incisal edge caracters, incisal curve and wich smile type to be used to achive harmonius smiles. Smilesimulation on the patient’s portrait with smile design software (Smylist Professional) could be usefull in diceding wich smile has got a perfect effect on the patient’s face. Creating direct veneer according to simulated, software designed smile is the most predictable and reliable methods to get as harmonius outcome as dentist would like.
